The Textile Institute is a unique organisation in textiles,
clothing and footwear. It was incorporated in England by
a Royal Charter granted in 1925 and is a registered charity.
The Institute has individual and corporate members in up to
80 countries, the membership covers all sectors and all
disciplines in textiles, clothing and footwear. Within the global textiles, clothing and footwear industries the aim of the Institute is to facilitate learning, to recognise achievement , to reward excellence and to disseminate information.

Nominations to The Textile Institute Council Now Open Nominations are invited to fill the vacancies that will occur in 2012 for membership of The Textile Institute's Council. Council hopes you will take the opportunity to consider seeking nomination as a member of Council. Nominations must be received at TIIHQ Manchester by 12 noon on Friday 9 March 2012. Nominations may be sent by e-mail, fax, or by post to TI headquarters office. The nomination forms and a short introductory note about the Council, the elections and a brief guide to eligibility is available via the Members-only section of this website.
