The Textile Institute is a unique organisation in textiles,
clothing and footwear. It was incorporated in England by
a Royal Charter granted in 1925 and is a registered charity.
The Institute has individual and corporate members in over
90 countries, the membership covers all sectors and all
disciplines in textiles, clothing and footwear.

NOMINATIONS FOR TEXTILE INSTITUTE HONORARY AWARDS 2008
The Medals & Awards Committee of The Textile Institute is seeking nominations for the awards of Companionship and Honorary Fellowship.
Companionship (CompTI)
This award was instituted in 1956 and is limited to 50 living members of the Institute. The status of Companion Member of the Institute may be granted by Council to any member who, having attained the age of 40, has substantially advanced the general interests of the textile industry.
Honorary Fellowship
First established in 1928, this is the highest honour that the Institute can award to an individual member in recognition of personal creativity and the advancement of knowledge achieved over many years. It covers all occupational areas of the Institute's work, including science, technology, marketing and management.
Nominations must be made on the accompanying form and submitted only in electronic format (by email). Please complete the form as fully as possible. Additional information may be included as a separate file or provided by reference to an appropriate website. Please note that the Proposer must have the support of at least two other TI members. Please send nominations to Stephanie Dick Director of Operations and Membership at sdick@textileinst.org.uk no later than 15 May 2008.
